Vin Diesel Reveals Release Date for Fast & Furious 11 and Teases Three-Part Finale
Vin Diesel, the main actor in the Fast & Furious movies, has revealed the release date for Fast & Furious 11. The previous movie, Fast X, was released in May 2023 and started the journey towards the final movie in the franchise. Initially, there were reports that Fast & Furious 11 would be the end of the series, but Diesel hinted that it would actually be a three-part conclusion.
Fast X ended with a big cliffhanger, leaving the fate of many characters uncertain. However, Diesel has now confirmed that Fast & Furious 11 will be released on April 4, 2025. The movie has already finished production, as it was filmed back-to-back with Fast X.
Originally, Fast X was meant to be the only movie, but Universal and Diesel's team decided to split it into multiple parts, leading to the cliffhanger. Fast & Furious 11 will address the unresolved plotlines from the previous movie and continue the fight against the villain Dante, played by Jason Momoa.
The post-credits scene in Fast X will also play a crucial role in the next installment. Despite his previous feud with Diesel, Dwayne Johnson will return to the franchise as Luke Hobbs, joining forces with Dominic Toretto and the rest of the crew to fight a common enemy. Cipher, played by Charlize Theron, might even become an ally due to her secret connections with Giselle.
Fast & Furious 11 could also finally reveal the whereabouts of Mr. Nobody, played by Kurt Russell. His character was absent in Fast X, but his absence had a significant impact on the story. The upcoming movie will likely bring him back as the franchise reaches its final conclusion.
