Spider-Man 4 Release Date Speculations and Updates
Sony Pictures has set two new release dates for upcoming Marvel movies: November 8, 2024, and June 27, 2025. People are speculating about which movies might be released on those dates, with some suggesting Venom 3 for 2024 and Spider-Man 4 for 2025.
Spider-Man 4 is currently in the early planning stages. Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider-Man, has shared that Sony and Marvel have been discussing the movie, and they have figured out the story. However, development has paused due to a strike by the Writers Guild of America (WGA). Once the strike is over, they will need to find a screenwriter. Despite these delays, it is still possible for Spider-Man 4 to be released in 2025.
One reason to believe that Spider-Man 4 will take the 2025 release date is that Sony doesn't have any other live-action movies in advanced stages of development. The 2025 date was specifically mentioned for a live-action movie, ruling out other possibilities like Spider-Verse 4 and the Spider-Woman spinoff.
There are other Marvel movies in development at Sony, such as "Jackpot," "Untitled Roberto Orci movie," "Untitled Olivia Wilde movie," and "Hypno-Hustler." However, there haven't been many updates on these projects, so it is more likely that Spider-Man 4 will be the one released in 2025.
Of course, new information about Holland's Spider-Man movie or these other projects could emerge in the future. But for now, it seems that Spider-Man 4 is on track for a 2025 release.
