Lee Pace's Versatility as an Actor and His Almost Role as Star-Lord

Lee Pace is a versatile actor who can easily transform himself with the help of makeup and prosthetics, as seen in his role as Ronan the Accuser in "Guardians of the Galaxy." However, he was initially considered for the role of Star-Lord before it went to Chris Pratt. Pace's other notable roles include tech entrepreneur Joe MacMillan in "Halt and Catch Fire" and the wise elf Thandruil in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." While it's fun to imagine Pace in a larger role in the MCU, his natural charisma would shine through better in a part that doesn't require extensive makeup. He could potentially play the lead role in James Gunn's upcoming "Booster Gold" DC Studios series, but Gunn has already mentioned having another actor in mind. There is also a chance for Pace to reprise his role as Ronan in a flashback in "The Marvels."
