Insidious: The Red Door - Fifth Installment in Horror Film Franchise by James Wan and Leigh Whannell

 

James Wan and Leigh Whannell are horror filmmakers who created the "Insidious" movie series in 2010. The first two movies followed the Lambert family and their haunting by evil forces. The next two films were prequels set before the Lambert haunting. "Insidious: The Red Door" is the fifth movie in the series, and it continues the story of the first two films. It takes place 10 years after the second movie, and the Lamberts are facing another demonic presence behind the red door. The movie was produced by Whannell and Wan, and it's directed by Patrick Wilson. It finished shooting in August 2022 and is set to be released on July 7, 2023.
