I Am Legend 2 Sequel to Follow Original Alternate Ending with Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan

 

Warner Bros. is making a sequel to the movie "I Am Legend," which starred Will Smith. The new movie will have Will Smith returning, as well as Michael B. Jordan. It will be written by Akiva Goldsman, who also wrote the 2007 movie adaptation of the original book. The new movie will ignore the first movie's ending and instead follow the original alternate ending where Will Smith's character, Dr. Neville, decides not to use the cure on the zombie-like creatures. Goldsman said he was inspired by shows like "The Last of Us," which is about an apocalyptic world where nature takes over after a plague. There is no release date yet, but the idea of the new movie is interesting.
