Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Includes Elements that May be Unsuitable for Younger Children

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the final entry in the Guardians franchise, includes elements that may be unsuitable for younger children. While the film received a PG-13 rating, like every other MCU movie, it pushes the boundaries of the certification, likely due to the finality of the film and James Gunn's departure from the MCU. The emotionally intense story centered on the abuse of Rocket, including flashbacks of animal abuse and torture, may be difficult for younger viewers to watch. Additionally, the film includes an abundance of curse words, including the MCU's first-ever F-bomb, and violence and grotesque imagery that could cause discomfort. While the film is not entirely unsuitable for younger Marvel moviegoers, parents may want to be aware of these elements before taking their children to see the film. The potentially censored version of Guardians 3 on Disney+ may also reflect these concerns.
