Redmi to Launch Budget-Friendly Redmi 12C Smartphone in India on March 30
Redmi has announced the launch of its budget-friendly smartphone, the Redmi 12C, in India on March 30. The phone will feature the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and will be priced under Rs. 10,000. It will come with a 6.71-inch LCD HD+ display with a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness level of 500 nits. The Redmi 12C will have a 50-megapixel AI dual rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and will feature up to 11GB extended RAM, including 5GB virtual RAM. The device is expected to come equipped with 10W charging support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port. The Redmi 12C was offered in Shadow Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender colour options in China, with the base 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model priced at CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 8,400). The 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model was priced at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 9,600), while the high-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model was priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 10,800).
