Rocksteady Studios has unveiled an extended gameplay trailer for its upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, at PlayStation's State of Play event. The game is set in a dilapidated Metropolis, which has been invaded by Brainiac, who has brainwashed members of the Justice League. The game features the Task Force X, including Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark, who are tasked with retrieving Lex Luthor from a shipping container. The game will have live-service elements, including a battle pass, timely content additions, and a gear system. The title requires a constant internet connection, and it does not support local co-op. Wonder Woman is the only main Justice League member unaffected by Brainiac's mind control and can be seen working with Task Force X. Each character has unique abilities and movement styles tailored to their personalities. The game is a 1-4 player co-op experience, limited to online co-op only. The game will release on May 26, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. Rocksteady will continue supporting the game post-launch, promising content in the form of new playable characters, weapons, and missions.
