Asus has confirmed that the global launch of the ROG Phone 7 will take place on April 13, which is earlier than its predecessor that was launched in July 2020. The company has not shared any details about the upcoming phone, but it was recently spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench, suggesting that it will come with Android 13 pre-installed and will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The ROG Phone 7 is expected to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of at least 165Hz. Additionally, the phone is rumored to have a 16GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The phone is speculated to be part of a series of three models: the ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7D, and the top-of-the-line ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. The Indian variant of the phone is listed on Geekbench as ASUS_AI2205_C and is expected to have a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz.
