Xiaomi's sub-brand the Redmi 12C is set to launch its budget smartphone

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its budget smartphone, the Redmi 12C, globally on February 26. The smartphone will come in three colour variants and two configurations, with either 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage or 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will run on Android 12 with MIUI 13, and be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, with a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging. The Redmi 12C base variant is expected to cost EUR 170 (nearly Rs. 15,000), while the higher variant will be priced at EUR 200 (nearly Rs. 17,630). The smartphone was previously spotted on IMEI database and MIIT database, and was rumoured to launch in India as the Poco C55.
