Disney has postponed the release of The Marvels, while the sequel to Captain Marvel is scheduled to come out on November 10th

Disney has altered its release schedule by moving the Brie Larson-led movie The Marvels from its initial summer release date to November 10. The film is the sequel to Captain Marvel, which brought in over $1 billion worldwide. The Marvels, directed by Nia DaCosta, also stars Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan. The movie will have the heroes switch places every time they use their powers, which was teased in the finale of Ms. Marvel. Haunted Mansion will take over The Marvels' original July 28 slot. Disney is also set to slow down its output and spread it out over TV and theatrical releases. Marvel has Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 scheduled for release on May 5, and Loki season two and Samuel L. Jackson's Secret Invasion expected to debut on the small screen this year. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the latest Marvel movie to be released, with Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly starring and Peyton Reed directing. The film also introduces Jonathan Majors as the villain Kang.
