Xiaomi is set to launch the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite
Xiaomi is set to launch the global version of its 13 series on February 26 in Barcelona, a day before Mobile World Congress 2023 begins. The series will include three models - the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite. While the first two models were already launched in China, the global series will reportedly have an additional Xiaomi 13 Lite model. The Geekbench listing of the Xiaomi 13 Lite suggests that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin. The phone scored 793 in single-core tests and 2,938 in multi-core tests. The phone is speculated to come in two colors - Black and Pink.
The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models were launched in the Chinese market in December 2022, and the global variants are expected to carry the same features. The Xiaomi 13 has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, runs on MIUI 14, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The Xiaomi 13 is expected to be priced at EUR 999.90 (roughly Rs. 88,300) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro will cost EUR 1,299.90 (roughly Rs. 1,14,700) and both models are expected to be available in black and white.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite is expected to be unveiled at the global launch event in Barcelona and may offer a more affordable option for those looking for a Xiaomi 13 series phone. With its powerful processor and ample RAM, the Xiaomi 13 Lite may be a viable alternative to the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro for those who want a high-performance phone at a more reasonable price point. Overall, the Xiaomi 13 series is expected to offer a range of features and price points to suit different needs and preferences.
