Spotify has launched an AI-powered DJ feature that will provide users with automatically curated playlists based on their listening preferences, taste and history. The feature, currently available on beta versions of Android and iOS apps, can be accessed via the Music Feed section on the app's homepage. Users tap on a Play button and the app uses the data it has accumulated to curate a playlist that matches the user's preferences. Users may also skip songs that don't suit them. The app's discover feature, which allows users to access songs, albums and artists based on their listening preferences, has not previously been a feature of the app's main music player.
