The author has recently switched from using AirPods to the new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 after facing several issues with their AirPods. The Buds Pro 2 have a design that is reminiscent of the AirPods Pro and come with touch controls on either side. The earbuds are comfortable to wear, and come with three different sizes of tips, ensuring a tight seal in the ear canal. The case is flat and horizontal, offering both wireless and USB-C charging options, with up to 25 hours of listening time with ANC. The Buds Pro 2 can be used with both the OnePlus 11 and iPhone 14, with the HeyMelody app allowing for customization and personalization of the listening experience. The sound quality of the Buds Pro 2 is clear, with accurate and crisp vocals, though not as bassy as expected. They are not designed for audiophiles, but rather for average users who use them for listening to music, podcasts, TV shows, movies, and attending phone calls.
