Henry Cavill is set to return for the third and final season of "The Witcher" as Geralt of Rivia. The trailer gives fans a glimpse of the terrifying journey ahead as Geralt faces a new enemy. The new season will continue the narrative of Ciri, Yennefer, and Geralt of Rivia, and will introduce new cast members, including Robbie Amell, Meng'er Zhang, Hugh Skinner, and Christelle Elwin. The third season will be released in two batches, with episodes 1-5 streaming on June 29th and 6-8 available on July 27th. Although the show has been renewed for a fourth season, Henry Cavill will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. Cavill reportedly had a short-term deal with the character and felt it was time to move on after three seasons of the series. "The Witcher" is set in a medieval-inspired landmass known as "the Continent" and explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri, who are linked to each other by destiny. The show also stars Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan.
