Samsung has announced the launch of its latest addition to the A-series, the Galaxy A24, which is expected to hit the Turkish market in the coming months. While the company has not yet revealed any details about the phone, leaked renders and a report by Turkish publication Gadgety suggest that the phone will feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 1,000 nits. The phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset and 4GB of RAM, and it may have 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. The phone is said to have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
For cameras, the Galaxy A24 will reportedly feature a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone is expected to have a similar design to the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G, with a flat display and back panel. It is also said to come in black, silver, lemon-green, and red-burgundy colors.
While the price of the Galaxy A24 has not been confirmed, it is expected to be around $285 (roughly Rs. 23,500). With this launch, Samsung aims to expand its presence in the mid-range smartphone market. The company has already launched the Galaxy A14, Galaxy A34 5G, and Galaxy A54 5G smartphones, all of which have been well-received.
