Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Explores Multiverse of Spider-Men

 

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a movie that has more Spider-Men than any other film before it. It continues the story from the 2018 movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where we were introduced to different versions of Spider-Man from different dimensions. The new film focuses on Miles Morales, a young Spider-Man, who wants to save his father from a terrible fate. However, other Spider-Man variants are worried that changing the events in Miles' dimension could cause great harm. This leads to an intense chase as the Spider-Society tries to stop Miles from interfering.

In addition to Miles Morales, the film brings back Spider-Gwen, also known as Spider-Woman or Ghost Spider, who comes from a timeline where Gwen Stacy gained spider powers. Peter Parker from Earth 616, who mentored Miles in the previous film, also makes an appearance. He is now married to Mary Jane and they have a daughter named Mayday, who becomes an important part of Peter's life.
