Xiaomi Launches Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ as Entry-Level Handsets in Europe

 

Xiaomi has silently launched the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ smartphones in Europe as entry-level handsets. They are available in Black, Light Green, and Light Blue and come in 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB RAM and storage configurations. The phones run on Android 12 (Go edition) and are powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of onboard storage. Both phones feature a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen with a dot drop notch housing a 5-megapixel selfie camera. They are equipped with an 8-megapixel primary camera, 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support, and connectivity options like Dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB type-C port for charging. The Redmi A2+ also has a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Xiaomi has not yet announced pricing and availability details.
