Motorola Edge 40 Pro: New Renders Surface Online Despite No-show at MWC 2023
Motorola's Edge 40 Pro, expected to be the successor to the Edge 30 Pro, did not make an appearance at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 event, despite rumours of its launch. However, new renders of the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online, revealing a blue and black finish and a design similar to the recently launched Edge 30 Fusion and Edge 30 Ultra smartphones. The leaked renders also showcase display-related details, including a variable screen refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a hint of a higher IP rating for water resistance. The phone is expected to have three cameras at the back, with a 50-megapixel sensor for the primary camera, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The device is expected to come in a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at EUR 850 (roughly Rs. 75,000). The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved edge AMOLED display, HDR10+ support, and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The phone is also expected to be powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 125W wired charging support and possibly 15W wireless charging capability. While the Edge 40 Pro did not make an appearance at MWC 2023, the fresh renders hint at an imminent launch.
